Finland’s Ministry refers visa applicants to the police photograph guide. For paper photos use 36 × 47 mm, in colour, taken within six months. Crown-to-chin height is 32–36 mm, with 4–6 mm above the crown and 7–9 mm below the chin. Use an evenly lit plain light background and do not alter your appearance.
