The right photo. For the right journey.

For a Romania short-stay uniform Schengen visa (type C), supply one colour 35 × 45 mm print taken within six months, with the head occupying 70–80% of the photo. Follow the EU portrait guide: face the camera directly, keep eyes visible and mouth closed, use a neutral expression, natural skin tones, even lighting and a plain light background. Show the head and upper shoulders; avoid shadows, reflections and red eye. Religious head coverings must leave the face visible. Print on high-quality photographic paper. Complete and sign the official application and follow the appointment and fingerprint requirements; minors need the required parent or guardian signature. The facial image may instead be captured at the interview. Confirm whether your receiving office needs a supplied print. This is not the national long-stay D visa’s separate 30 × 40 mm format or a verified online upload.
